This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109. Why you'll love this position: As part of the Chronic Disease Epidemiology Team, you will begin building your epidemiology career by developing and implementing evaluation plans for the Heart Disease and Diabetes programs. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about protecting and enhancing the health of Missourians. If you join our team, you will have the opportunity to promote strategies to improve population health. This position provides a great opportunity for a self-motivated person to help individuals and communities improve health and decrease health disparities. The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay. Responsibilities - What you'll do What you'll do: Perform program evaluation tasks, including collecting and analyzing process and outcome data, as well as grant/report writing and editing. Update the Diabetes and Heart Disease profiles annually using data from various population-based health surveys. Assist with the development of the evaluation plan and the evaluation for the Heart Disease & Diabetes programs Coordinate meetings related to program evaluation; and disseminate the evaluation findings. Present Missouri chronic disease data at local, state, and national meetings and conferences.
