As a vital member of our healthcare family, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by implementing infection control policies and protocols, monitoring and controlling outbreaks, and providing exceptional wound care services.
Responsibilities:
Meet nursing operational standards by contributing to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, and resolving problems Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements Maintain nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff, following up on work results Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families Provide information to patients and healthcare team by answering questions and requests Resolve patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies Maintain safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols Maintain documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records Ensure operation of medical and administrative equipment by verifying emergency equipment availability, completing preventive maintenance requirements, and following manufacturer's instructions Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving methods
RN Skills and Qualifications:
Judgment, Supervision, Informing Others, Nursing Skills, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Hospital Environment, Medical Teamwork, Listening, and Pain Management CDC Certification required or must be completed shortly after hire
