Know Your Team:
Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women's services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab. The Infection Preventionist RN applies knowledge and skills, professionally in daily performance of Infection Control and patient safety activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, surveillance, analysis, reporting, and documenting activities, as well as setting standards and evaluating compliance for practices that are associated with the prevention and control of health care associated infections. The RN ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory agency requirements and communicates pertinent information to senior leadership and medical staff.
Required Qualifications:
Associates in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of infection prevention, quality, or patient safety experience Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC)
