Heshe will be responsible for certifying staff on protocols for assessing physical activity, anthropometrics, blood pressure, and psychosocial surveys. The Fellow will also provide analytic and methodological oversight, contribute to the planning and execution of data analyses, prepare, and submit manuscripts, write grant proposals, and develop an independent program of research related to health promotion among minority or underrepresentedmunities. Candidates with a research interestfocus in health equity,munity-based research, motivational and behavioral-change theory, statistics, andor implementation science are encouraged to . Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in area of research specialty. Job Duties Job Duty Managing data collection and analysis using various research methods (e.g., accelerometry, surveys, and observational tools). The postdoc will oversee that all data is accurately obtained from families, downloaded, backed up, andanized data files for processing and data analysis. Given that we will work with over 600 participants, this will require daily oversight. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Overseeing intervention implementation, including process evaluation data, which involves tracking attendance, content delivery, and quality of delivery based on a set of apriori criteria. This information will be d weekly with the Principal Investigators to track the intervention's implementation. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 15 Job Duty Preparing scholarly manuscripts and conference presentations. The postdoc will assist with data analysis, manuscript writing, and developing conference presentations related to the grant. This will involve developing slide presentations and working closely with the Principal Investigators to ensure that data presentations are clearly analyzed and summarized. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 40 Job Duty Training and supervision of part-time research staff and graduateundergraduate students. The postdoc will provide oversight that protocols are followed for the measurement team related to assessments of height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, physical activity (actigraph devices worn on the wrist), and surveys. The postdoc will be responsible for 2 part-time measurement staff and will assist with projects that undergraduate students develop through the Magellan Scholarship Program and the Honors College and Capstone Programs. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 15 Job Duty Assisting with grant applications. The postdoc will assist with writing and submitting grant applications aligned with the grant's overall aims. We anticipate working on at least 3 manuscripts per year, in which the postdoc will help oversee as a lead or co-author.
