Job Description
As an Infection Prevention/Hospital Educator at Encompass Health, you will lead infection prevention initiatives and staff education in a post-acute rehabilitation setting. You will develop and deliver training on evidence-based infection control practices, monitor compliance with regulatory standards, conduct surveillance, analyze infection trends, and support outbreak investigations. Partnering with clinical leaders, you will implement quality improvement projects, update policies, mentor staff, and promote a culture of safety, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development.
