Dairy Flavorist Job Description We are seeking a talented Dairy Flavorist for a first shift position. The Flavorist will be responsible for creating, revising, and optimizing flavors for dairy and non-dairy applications. This role involves collaboration with both internal and external customers to develop innovative flavor solutions for their products. Responsibilities Create, revise, and optimize flavors for dairy and non-dairy applications. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Application Scientists to create customized presentations for key/target clients. Maintain excellent customer relations with support from Sales, Marketing, and Applications teams. Manage complex projects while maintaining multiple priorities and timelines. Perform analytical testing for flavor and ingredient formulation. Ensure professional development to stay current with new flavor development and flavor processing techniques. Taste all foods and translate flavors into sensory lexicon. Essential Skills Experience in research and development. Analytical chemistry skills, including HPLC. Proficiency in flavor creation and flavorist techniques. Dairy experience. Background in food science and new product development. Additional Skills & Qualifications Flavorist Certification. BS in Food Science with 5 years of experience preferred. Open to candidates with less experience but preference for senior candidates. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with quality inspections, lab testing, and aseptic techniques. Work Environment The position offers a stable work schedule with weekends being extremely rare. Overtime is typically during the week and limited to 1 or 2 hours at the most, ensuring a balanced work-life environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Saukville, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $200000.00/yr. This is a direct placement opportunity. benefits will be provided by client upon start or on consultants request.
