Position not approved for third-party recruiters. Click for details B&N is looking for a passionate, ambitious Geologist to join our Environmental Section in our Phoenix office.
B&N Geologist Responsibilities :
Support solid waste permitting, planning, and compliance projects. Prepare permit applications, reports, memos, plans, and regulatory submittals. Research ADEQ, EPA, and other applicable regulations, requirements, and guidance. Assist with field inspections, site visits, records reviews, and data collection. Support solid waste planning, benchmarking, rate study, and feasibility tasks. Develop spreadsheets, calculations, figures, exhibits, and summary tables. Coordinate with clients, agencies, facility operators, and internal staff. Assist with proposals, client research, meeting prep, and business development support.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Geology or other related Earth or Soil science Ability to use AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, and data organization. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Ability to research agency databases, public records, and municipal portals. Experience with solid waste or landfill development is a plus. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, Bluebeam, or Adobe Acrobat preferred. Ability to obtain OSHA 40-hour
HAZWOPER
