(JSAI), a Geo-Logic Associates company, has an opening for a Staff Hydrogeologist. JSAI projects include water planning, environmental, surface water investigations, groundwater flow models, well site construction and management services, data collection, pumping tests, sampling, and the like. The primary duties include assisting with projects for a wide range of clients in New Mexico and Texas. The ideal candidate should possess a professional demeanor so they can effectively interact with Senior Staff, and clients. Responsibilities Collection of field data related to well drilling, completion, development, and testing Collection of field data related to water sampling and monitoring projects Assist with hydrogeologic analysis of data using analytical methods, numerical models, and other methods Assist with field work related to environmental projects Geologic mapping and locating hydrologic features Development and maintenance of databases Assist with generation of technical reports Other duties as required or as assigned Qualifications B.S in Geology, Hydrogeology, or water resource related field with 0 to 3 yrs relevant experience U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status and Valid Driver's License Ability to work with all JSAI personnel and clients to accomplish project goals Ability to work in the field in various locations in and outside of Albuquerque Basic understanding of construction industry and ability to use hand tools Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (excel and WORD), etc Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs Strong ability to multitask Friendly and upbeat demeanor GLA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, vacation leave, sick leave and profit sharing.
