This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with experience in soil and groundwater investigations, brownfield remediation, environmental compliance, and technical report preparation. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and executing environmental field investigations, overseeing drilling and sampling activities, classifying soils, preparing technical work plans and reports, and supporting remediation and redevelopment projects. Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment. A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific discipline is required. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated experience performing subsurface investigations and preparing technical deliverables. Responsibilities Perform and oversee soil, groundwater, and soil vapor investigations Classify soils in accordance with USCS and NYSDEC requirements Oversee drilling, monitoring well installation, and environmental sampling activities Prepare technical work plans, investigation reports, remediation documentation, and data summaries Support brownfield redevelopment and remediation projects Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments Coordinate field activities with subcontractors, laboratories, and clients Prepare figures, site plans, and exhibits using CAD and/or GIS software Support environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts Assist with construction oversight and remedial excavation activities Maintain field documentation, chain-of-custody records, and health and safety compliance Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to project sites Bachelor's Degree in Geology or Environmental Engineering 3-5 years of environmental consulting experience

OSHA HAZWOPER

40-Hour Certification Experience with soil classification and subsurface investigations Experience preparing technical reports and work plans Familiarity with NYSDEC remediation programs and environmental regulations Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or GIS software Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple field assignments and deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience with Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) projects Groundwater sampling and monitoring well installation experience Experience with CAMP monitoring and remedial oversight Familiarity with
