In-house Geosteering Geologist

Impac Exploration Services is hiring a Geosteering Specialist to work in Midland, TX. Positions are rotational, 14 days on 14 days off. In addition to geosteering live wells, the role requires organization and attention to detail for post drill analysis, pre-drill planning, as well as best practice documentation and implementation. Effective communication with geologists, engineers, directional drillers and field personnel is essential. Required Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Geosteering experience in multiple basins
• Bachelor's degree in geology or earth sciences
• StarSteer experience
• Minimum of 2 years geosteering or operations geology experience
• Ability to work 14 days on 14 days off, nights, holidays, weekends, etc.

$30.00 - $60.00 per hour
