Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends

Shift Required Experience:
Epic Hyperspace Experience Key Responsibilities Culture Plate Reading Microbiology Set-Ups Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria. Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure proper functionality. Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving. Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents and controls. Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care. Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures. Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as needed. Assist with specimen processing when required. Maintain a safe work environment and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field, or meet applicable local regulatory (CLIA and state) requirements. Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience. State Medical Technologist license may be required, depending on applicable state requirements. ASCP or AMT certification may be preferred or required based on the position requirements. Prior Epic Hyperspace experience is required. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment. Proficient computer skills; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills. Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screening. Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts based on business needs.
