Job Summary:
Provides professional and technical laboratory expertise to ensure accurate and timely performance of routine and specialized clinical testing in support of clinical trials, in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform and report automated and manual clinical laboratory tests independently with minimal supervision Apply principles of clinical laboratory science across assigned disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, molecular testing, and flow cytometry Verify quality control data and release laboratory results in accordance with California licensing and regulatory requirements Maintain laboratory supplies, prepare reagents, and ensure readiness for daily testing operations Identify and escalate irregularities that may impact test results or data integrity Support assay improvements, new assay validation, and implementation activities Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, GCLP, and company quality and safety procedures
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline Valid California State Clinical Laboratory License to perform laboratory testing CLS License by ASCP Proficiency with complex laboratory techniques, calculations, and troubleshooting of analytical equipment Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
