+ Participates in research grant application preparation.

+ Occasionally travels for participant enrollment activities.

+ Digitizes and catalogues imaging as defined per study protocols.

+ Attends and actively participates in research meetings.

+ Utilizes clinical knowledge and skills to develop clinical research studies.

+ Designs, constructs, and implements research proposals, protocols, and procedures.

+ Leads analysis of research data in collaboration with biostatisticians and other research team members.

+ Prepares abstracts, scholarly manuscripts, presentations, and final study reports to communicate research results.

+ Supervises data collection by research core staff, including clinical operations and oncology.

+ Obtains, reviews, and extracts pertinent data elements for clinical studies.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• + Knowledge of the development and operation of clinical and basic science research protocols [Required] + Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office [Required] + Must be detail oriented [Required] + Must have the ability to multi-task [Required] + Must be able to think critically [Required] + Must have excellent deductive reasoning skills [Required] + Must have excellent decision making and communication skills [Required] + Knowledge or experience in investigator-initiated research in a clinical•research setting [Preferred] •

Education:

• + Graduate of accredited Medical School [Required]
• Work Experience:
• + Established competency in research as evidenced by published (peer reviewed) research and/or prior work experience [Required]
