Expect Schedule:

EVE 3:00PM - 11:30PM Monday - Friday (rotates on call)

Training:

Days 7:00AM-3:30PM 6-8 weeks

Rosemont IL Base Wage:

$49.14/hour - $51.48/hour As a Med Lab Scientist, you'll get to: Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.(Ref Lab)??? Perform production, processing, and labeling of blood components and blood donations (Manu Lab)?? Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services. Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations. Conduct training, observations, competency assessments and documentation. Participate in technical investigative studies. Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required. Certification as a Medical Technologist/MLS/BB from an accredited agency or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required. State licensure as required by regulations. Three years of laboratory testing experience required. One year of Reference Lab/IRL experience preferred. Two years of experience in a lead or charge capacity required.

Requirements:

SBB certification preferred. MLS/BB certification required. 3 years lab experience with 1-year IRL required. 2 years lead/charge experience required.
