Pay Rate:
- starting at $32.15/hour plus shift differential

Schedule:
- Flexible 3rd shift scheduling options including 3x12, 4x10 or 5x8 shifts. On-call rotation, including holiday coverage. Extensive daytime training period provided to ensure long-term success in this highly specialized role. Significant autonomy and independent case work during overnight operations.

- What You'll Do
- Perform advanced immunohematology and molecular testing on clinical, research, quality control, and study specimens
- Analyze and interpret complex laboratory results and resolve serologic discrepancies
- Provide technical expertise and consultation to laboratory staff, management, and customers
- Review and release test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with validation activities, SOP development, and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain laboratory equipment, perform quality control testing, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Serve as a technical resource and assist with training and competency assessment of laboratory personnel
- Participate in on-call coverage and support timely resolution of complex transfusion medicine cases
- Ensure compliance with FDA, AABB, CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and cGMP requirements
- What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related scientific field
- MLS, CLS, MT, or BB certification through ASCP or equivalent required
- SBB certification preferred; equivalent qualification or 10 years of Immunohematology Reference Laboratory experience accepted
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in an Immunohematology Reference Laboratory or transfusion service environment
- Strong expertise in immunohematology, immunology theory, blood group genetics, and transfusion medicine
- Experience performing and interpreting advanced serologic and molecular testing
- Ability to troubleshoot sophisticated laboratory instrumentation and workflows
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while collaborating effectively with the broader team
- Must meet CLIA requirements for high-complexity testing
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
