Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures to support patient diagnosis, treatment, and research initiatives. Your expertise in laboratory techniques, specimen processing, and data management will be vital to ensuring accurate and timely results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adherence to quality control protocols, and a passion for advancing medical science. Responsibilities Perform routine diagnostic/analytic testing of laboratory specimens, and interpret documents and report test results in compliance with department procedures and applicable regulations. Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Conducts quality control and quality assurance testing. Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests. Assists with data collection or special projects as assigned. Assists in documentation and submission of all required laboratory, departmental, and staff statistics/reports. Implements, validates, and reports laboratory test results. Qualifications Currently possess certification for Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC). A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university for a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist program. Experience in high complexity testing (e.g. molecular, ELISA), chemistry, and hematology analysis.
