Works independently with moderate supervision from a Medical Technologist Supervisor or the Director of Laboratory Operations. May be assigned to work in a specialized section within the department. Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science and ASCP (or equivalent) certification in one or more specialty areas of the laboratory.
