Job Description
The University of Cincinnati seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Hoxworth Blood Center Research, Wang Laboratory. The Fellow will conduct advanced research in transfusion medicine, immunohematology, and related biomedical fields, designing and executing experiments, analyzing complex datasets, and contributing to high-impact publications and grant proposals. Responsibilities include maintaining rigorous lab practices, mentoring students, collaborating with clinical and academic partners, and presenting findings at conferences, supporting UC's mission of innovation, community impact, and research excellence. Responsibilities Design and conduct experiments in transfusion medicine, immunohematology, and related areas. Collect, manage, and analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods. Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations for peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences. Contribute to grant applications and research proposals to secure external funding. Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clinical, academic, and industry partners to advance translational research. Mentor and support graduate and undergraduate students and research staff in the laboratory. Present research findings within UC and at external meetings to enhance the lab's visibility.
