Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Under limited supervision, performs tests for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease, and performs related duties, following established standards and practices. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Completion of all prerequisite courses in anticipation of graduation from Trinity Health System's School of Medical Laboratory Science Program or equivelant Bachelors of Science Program.
License/Certification:
Experience:
Successful completion of a clinical practicum rotation with proven competency.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
: Successfully performs and results required tests according to policies and procedure and in a timely manner. Performs and maintains established department quality control testing and proficiency testing Print and review departmental outstanding reports and exception reports. Performs and documents required equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Willingness to take on extra responsibilities and performs tasks without being instructed to do so. Maintains all reagents and supplies in each department. Enhances professional growth and development through participating in educational programs, current literature, in-services, meetings and workshops.
