{bOther5} The Part-Time Temporary Research Associate will support ongoing research activities in the Elahinia Research Group within the Department of MIME. The position will contribute to research projects involving advanced materials, additive manufacturing, shape memory alloys, smart materials, and related experimental and computational research activities. The employee will assist with the planning, execution, analysis, and documentation of research activities and provide technical support to ongoing research projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a closely related field. Demonstrated research experience in additive manufacturing, shape memory alloys, advanced materials, smart materials, or related engineering fields. Experience with experimental design, materials characterization, data analysis, and technical report or manuscript preparation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research environment
