Postdoctoral Scientist - Srinivasan Lab Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - 4.3 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time 15 hours ago Benefits Free parking Paid holidays Relocation assistance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Senior level Full Job Description Position Overview and Responsibilities The Srinivasan Laboratory at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is recruiting a motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to study the development and disease mechanisms of lymphatic vessels and cardiovascular valves. Our research addresses diseases including lymphedema, aortic stenosis, mitral valve prolapse, venous valve dysfunction, thrombosis, and inflammatory disorders. We use multidisciplinary approaches including genetically engineered mouse models, advanced imaging, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, and bioinformatics. Successful candidates will have opportunities to develop independent research directions, learn new experimental and computational approaches, present their work at scientific meetings, and contribute to high-impact publications. Experience with mouse models, imaging, genomics, or computational analysis is desirable but not required. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in a biological science, M.D., or equivalent (or expected to receive degree soon). Familiarity with standard lab techniques. Strong motivation to publish research papers. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Ability to communicate and write summaries of result. Professionalism while interacting with a diverse group of people, personalities, and cultures. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated productivity with peer-reviewed publications. Experience with histology. Experience with mouse models of disease. Familiarity with vascular biology or immunology. Work Hours Work hours are typically Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
