Apply Now The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents and medical students. Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to provide education, mentorship, and research support to hematology/oncology fellows. Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients with melanoma and other skin cancers in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service (solid oncology, cellular immunotherapy, or both) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). Research or scholarship responsibilities may include focusing on translational research to enhance the melanoma and skin cancers immunotherapy research program. Scholarly productivity is required on the clinician educator track. The selected candidate will have an interest in translational research aimed at advancing our melanoma and skin cancer immunotherapy research program. Faculty on the Clinician-Educator are expected to demonstrate a strong record of scholarly productivity. The University of Pennsylvania is an equal opportunity employer.
