Research Liaison Advocate Aurora Health - 3.6 Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time $28.55 - $42.85 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Word processing Databases Bachelor's degree Research regulatory compliance Productivity software Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Major Responsibilities Serve as the central contact and liaison between clinician researchers and GME research administrators, research scientists, support staff, and collaborators. Facilitate communication between investigators, legal, compliance, HIT, sponsored programs, research business services, and other collaborating departments as appropriate. Provide information and orientation to new investigators regarding eligibility to conduct research, engagement in research, and available support services and funding. Develop research support materials including general information and orientation materials, newsletter content, and other communications. Support submissions for Research Development and Support (RRDS) and/or Protocol Review Committees (PRC) as needed. Assess clinician researcher needs, provide guidance, and collaborate with the RDS program manager to determine next steps and GME consultations. Develop and maintain a library of reference documentation including study design information, research methods, sample abstracts, reference literature, proposal templates, and related materials. Provide guidance on eRIB submissions, including IRBNet use, protocol development, modifications, resubmissions, continuing review, research policies, contracting, and other research requirements. Participate in planning, development, coordination, and implementation of studies that promote and enhance internal and external research collaboration. Coordinate GME project teams in the review and pursuit of research opportunities involving clinician researchers. Support development of reports and metrics related to GME activities as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required None required. Education Required Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or Bachelor's degree in Health Science, or Bachelor's degree in Public Health. Experience Required Typically requires 2 years of project management and/or research experience. Working knowledge of research principles and regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge of office software including word processing, databases, and internet applications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of research requirements, regulatory policies, and processes. Project management skills (PMP preferred). Advanced proficiency in office software applications. Knowledge of medical terminology. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Exposure to a rapid-paced and complex health care environment. Remote work with required in-person presence (e.g., site visits, recruitment activities, meetings) as needed. May require driving and/or travel for work-related meetings and functions, with exposure to normal travel hazards.
