Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and prepare specimens for testing
  • Perform Microbiology testing
  • Operate laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance
  • Record test results and report findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Ensure laboratory procedures are followed according to standards and regulations
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy of results

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • ASCP certification (or equivalent certification like AMT or AAB) required
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
