Pay Rate High:
30 We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Microbiologist to support daily activities within a Research & Development (R D) team.

The position focuses on executing established protocols, maintaining lab operations, and contributing to collaborative R D efforts. Located in
Columbus, IN Direct Hire Pay:
$25-30/hour Key Responsibilities Perform routine microbiological testing, including media preparation, culturing, plating, and microbial enumeration Execute established experimental protocols to support R D initiatives Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to proper sterile procedures Accurately document results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems Assist with basic data analysis and preparation of reports Support laboratory organization, including equipment cleaning, calibration, and inventory tracking Collaborate with senior scientists and cross-functional team members Follow safety guidelines and standard laboratory practices (e.g., GLP where applicable) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field 1-2 years of laboratory experience (internships, academic labs, or entry-level industry roles acceptable) Working knowledge of fundamental microbiology techniques (e.g., plating, staining, microscopy) Experience or training in microbiological methods is a plus (e.g., aseptic technique, environmental monitoring, bioburden testing)
Requirements:
