As a Microbiologist Summer Intern, in Indianapolis, IN, you will work alongside experienced scientists to support research projects focused on microbiology and biological sciences. This internship provides hands-on experience in an industry research environment while offering opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build your professional network.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with laboratory and research activities related to microbiology and biological sciences.
  • Support experiment planning, sample preparation, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate research findings to project teams.
  • Present project updates and a final summary of results to colleagues and peers.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to Corteva's safety culture.
What Skills You'll Need:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Plant Biology, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous laboratory or research experience is preferred.
