Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters! Are you a detail-oriented microbiology professional with experience supporting quality systems in a regulated laboratory environment? Join our team as a QC Microbiologist, where you will play a key role in quality control, quality assurance, environmental monitoring, and microbiological testing activities that help ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform routine microbiological testing for incoming raw materials, finished products, stability samples, and other laboratory samples in accordance with GLP/cGMP requirements. Administer the environmental monitoring program, maintain laboratory hygiene standards, and support compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements. Investigate microbial data deviations, document findings thoroughly, and prepare clear, presentation-quality investigation reports. Support equipment and method troubleshooting, validation, qualification, calibration, preventative maintenance, method transfers, and method qualifications. Write, review, and revise laboratory and quality documentation, including SOPs, forms, protocols, summary reports, change controls, and deviation reports. Participate in quality system activities, including audits, document control, batch record review, product disposition support, CAPA activities, retention sample management, and data trending. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline preferred; equivalent relevant laboratory experience may be considered. Experience in a QC microbiology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or similarly regulated laboratory environment. Working knowledge of GLP, cGMP, laboratory documentation standards, deviation investigations, change control, and quality management systems. Ability to perform microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, data review, and laboratory documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear technical reports.
