Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. This role requires a strong foundation in various scientific disciplines and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be willing to work Tuesday-Saturday overnight shift with Sundays and Mondays off. Duties Conduct laboratory tests in areas such as molecular biology, microbiology, and cell biology. Utilize advanced techniques including RT-PCR to analyze samples. Perform quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. Document and report findings clearly and accurately, adhering to laboratory protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care. Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations. Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field; certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist is preferred. Strong knowledge of molecular biology, microbiology and assay techniques. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and healthcare providers. Previous experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting is an advantage.
