Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will provide analytical testing support for development and process characterization projects. To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications outlined below represent the knowledge, skill, and abilities required for the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.- Perform analytical testing and analyses with minimal assistance using modern instrumental analytical techniques, including but not limited Karl Fischer moisture analysis, coagulation assays, enzymatic assays, and immunoassays.
- Relevant analytical test experience in a cGXP environment, including proper pipetting (volumetric, positive displacement, reverse) and a sound understanding of the principles of test methods. Proven awareness of and adherence to applicable regulatory guidance documents for cGXP testing, method validation, and CMC development are preferred.
- Operate and perform maintenance on modern analytical instruments, including but not limited to coulometric titrator, coagulation analyzer, immunonephelometer, plate readers.
- Accurately and contemporaneously document laboratory work in a research notebook or LIMS system. May contribute to report writing.
- Demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented approach with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Identify aberrant results, initiate investigations, and actively participate in problem-solving efforts that require independent and original thought.
- MS Office applications proficiency.
Senior Associate Research Scientist I:
- Degree must be within a relevant field: (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Toxicology).
- Master"s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience, or Bachelor"s degree plus 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
