We are diversified and strong in the herbal, nutraceutical, natural products and health professional industries. We are seeking a confident, driven, and detailed oriented Microbiologist that is responsible for QC testing of our raw materials and finished products. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Microbiology Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and quality assurance team. In this role, you will perform microbiological testing and analysis to ensure product safety, compliance with industry regulations, and adherence to laboratory standards. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency in microbiology techniques, laboratory procedures, and compliance protocols within a research or industrial laboratory setting. Duties Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of test results using Laboratory Information and ensure data integrity. Perform sterile laboratory techniques to prevent contamination during sample handling and testing processes. Support quality control initiatives by verifying compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP, CGMP, and laboratory safety standards. Assist in the development and validation of microbiological assays related to product safety and efficacy. Collaborate with research teams on microbiology-related projects involving molecular biology, histology, or other scientific techniques. Ensure proper chemical handling safety procedures are followed during all laboratory activities. Qualifications Proven experience in an industrial or clinical microbiology laboratory environment. Strong understanding of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations related to microbiological testing. Knowledge of laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and sterile techniques. Familiarity with microbiology techniques such as culture methods, pathogen detection, and microbial enumeration. Able to work independently on work projects with little assistance. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. .This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our quality assurance processes while advancing your expertise in microbiology within a fast-paced research setting. Educational Requirements:
Minimum of an Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology or science related field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a GMP Laboratory environment; Experience in dietary supplements preferred.

From $17.00 per hour
