Job Description

Major Pharmaceutical / Medical Device company is seeking an experienced Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our GMP-regulated laboratory environment for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will primarily support routine endotoxin testing activities using validated cartridge-based systems. Key Responsibilities Perform routine endotoxin testing as the primary responsibility using LAL cartridge testing system (MCS) Prepare samples, execute testing, and document results in accordance with approved SOPs and GMP requirements Review endotoxin test data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to submission Support water system monitoring and product testing requiring endotoxin analysis Provide limited support for environmental monitoring and bioburden testing as needed Assist with validation, qualification, and investigation activities requiring endotoxin testing Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure readiness of reagents, cartridges, and consumables Skills and Qualifications Hands-on experience with endotoxin testing methodologies (LAL) Experience with LAL cartridge system (MCS) is strongly preferred Working knowledge of GMP laboratory practices and data integrity requirements Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet testing deadlines Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word Familiarity with routine microbiology laboratory equipment and techniques Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline (preferred)
  • Equivalent experience (minimum 3 years) in a microbiology laboratory within an FDA‑regulated industry may be considered in lieu of formal education
