Overview Detail oriented individual required for conducting the testing of Raw Materials and Finished Product for US Based Concentrate Manufacturing Plant managing microbiological testing. Responsibilities
  • Delivers accurate and timely results of all raw materials and semi-finished components so that dispositions can be made ensuring no down time to the Operations Team
  • Conduct micro testing of raw materials and finished products
  • Oversee site micro testing program, including: retrieving samples, plating, water testing, CIP validations and interpreting results
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, reporting results orally and in written documentation
  • Maintains all records in accordance with PepsiCo protocol
  • Maintains the stock of all Micro Lab consumables
  • Leading by example with a clear commitment to personal safety, process safety, and food safety
  • Ability to analyze and process high volumes of information and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner, with precise attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and follow-through in problem-solving
  • Compliance with all GMP, OSHA and Plant Safety Policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable PepsiCo, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards.
  • Authority to immediately address safety/quality risks
Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,600
  • $94,450.

Qualifications
  • Experience working in a microbiology lab required
  • Knowledgeable of media preparation & sterilization
  • Demonstration of aseptic technique
  • Skilled in both pour-plate and membrane filtration type testing
  • Self-Motivated individual with strong Quality Systems experience
  • BS in Microbiology, Chemistry or related field
  • This is a first shift position, but the individual must be flexible to work different hours occasionally.
