Job Description

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
A:
Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the hospital, as well as the focus statement of the department.
B:
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
C:
Willingness to work under direct supervision of technologist on duty and be effective and efficient in performing duties.
D:
Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum diagnostic information in each examination performed.
E:
Possess professional oral and written communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
A:
Enrolled in an approved two-year Radiologic Technology Program.
B:
Must be classified as Senior or second year student which will be registry eligible upon graduation.
C:
High school graduate or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
A:
Emotional and physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position.
B:
Much standing and walking.
C:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
