Job Description
Monday - Friday Day/Afternoon Shifts 40 Hours per week Previous experience as a Staff Technologist preferred but not required. Previous experience in phlebotomy preferred BCLS is required. The Technologist Extender/Radiology Assistant assists the Radiologic and MRI Technologists by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction. The Technologist Extender/Radiology Assistant communicates with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care and facilitate patient care including lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients. Will also perform a variety of patient care activities to assist the patient care team including phlebotomy.
