The Engineering Technician will work with engineers using sketches, rough layouts, and CAD drawings to create prototype devices for review and testing. Primary Responsibilities Assists engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes. Performs extensive research and development during the creation phase of the product Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement. Utilizes computer-aided design and drafting equipment during the design phase. Equipment Set up, maintenance, and calibration Follow safety procedures and ensure proper operation of equipment and handling of materials and chemicals Keep the lab clean, organized, and stocked with supplies Why EquipmentShare? Problem-solving:

Effective troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify the root cause of mechanical issues Basic computer skills: Familiarity with software for data analysis and documentation

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent education or experience required. Technical school or an applicable skilled trades program, preferred Level II - At least 4 years experience in fabrication/prototype or equivalent experience Level III - At least 6 years experience in fabrication/prototype or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, or both for prolonged periods at a desk and/or machine.
