Position Summary The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the medical staff with delegated clinical and clerical duties, including collecting pertinent patient information prior to physician examinations and ensuring efficient patient flow. Responsibilities Assist physicians and clinical staff with direct patient care. Collect and document patient information, vital signs, and medical history. Perform clerical duties, including scheduling, answering phones, and maintaining patient records. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Five or more years of related patient care experience preferred. Strong computer and typing skills preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
