Our team is seeking a Student Assistant for our Bureau of Field Services Team. We are looking for someone who can embrace the challenges of meeting our goals and exceeding the standards! This position performs database/spreadsheet updates, research, file maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the manager. Work is performed under well-defined guidelines and assignments and is closely reviewed throughout the entire scope of all projects. The "Salary" listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the Student Assistant position. Student Assistant Position Description All about MDOT Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate work schedule requests for this position may be considered. Education Current enrollment in vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. MDOT requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours per semester/term excluding summers and continuously enrolled and earning the required credits. Experience No specific type or amount is required. To be considered for this position you must submit proof of enrollment which includes unofficial transcripts, an acceptance letter from the college/university (as long as it is for the upcoming semester/term), copy of current semester/term schedule, or a receipt of tuition payment that shows a balance of $0.00. Failure to attach proof of enrollment may result in you being screened out of the process.
