You will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Chemist in the Air Systems Group, Propulsion & Power Engineering Department of

NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (DP-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Directing research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) programs for aviation and maritime fuels and lubricants; (2) Establishing the technical specifications and quality assurance requirements for propulsion fuels and lubricants; (3) Leading multidisciplinary teams in assessing fuel and lubricant compatibility with military and commercial systems; (4) Conducting development and certification efforts for alternative or synthetic fuels and lubricants; and (5) Formulating policies related to the procurement, storage, supply, delivery, and use of aviation and shipboard fuels including all related quality assurance measures, while also representing the agency at national and international technical meetings.
