Perform quality assurance and performance testing of equipment used to generate medical images. Provide oversight for inventory, surveys, packaging, distribution and disposal of radioactive materials. Provide training and advice to clinical staff on the safe and proper use of xray equipment and radioactive materials. Maintain required documentation regarding use of radioactive materials in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory standards. Assist with accreditation and regulatory body inspections. Review policies and procedure relevant to radiation safety. Review imaging technologist QC records. Review and investigate MRI and CT safety incidents. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
Medical Physicist preferred.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
