Job Description
Summary:
Under minimal supervision, ensures the accuracy, precision and reproducibility of medically prescribed radiation treatments to patients by performing equipment compliance and acceptance testing, and calculating pretreatment radiation dosimetry. Assists in the management of radiation safety practices in the radiation oncology department, and provides hospital radiation safety services in the radiation safety officer's absence. Assists the chief medical physicist in directing the workload of the medical physics and dosimetry team.Experience:
