Job Description

An oncology medical center is seeking a Radiology Oncologist in Bergen County, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive radiation oncology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.  About the

Day shift
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, with light weekend call
Hours:
8:00 AM - 4:00
PM Setting:
In-person, medical center
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized radiation oncology treatment plans Perform therapeutic simulation, isodose distribution, treatment delivery, and ongoing management Provide follow-up care after treatment completion Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to support optimal patient outcomes Participate in program development, process improvement, and communication with referring physicians
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology Ability to participate in tumor board meetings on Fridays at 7:30 AM Commitment to evidence-based, team-oriented patient care
Desired Skills:
Experience in radiation oncology treatment planning and delivery Familiarity with HDR, CT, Clinac 2300, SRS, and SBRT Experience working with oncology support teams, including nursing, physics, dosimetry, social work, and rehabilitation services Interest in program growth and quality improvement initiatives
