Job Description

Overview We are hiring a Medical Physicist in beautiful Rhode Island. This role offers a blend of cutting-edge technology, a manageable patient load, and an incredible coastal quality of life.

Cancer center in scenic Rhode Island 1 Varian TrueBeam Approximately 25 patients per day No HDR / No LDR Fully integrated Eclipse & ARIA environment Collaborative clinical team with a strong focus on quality and patient care This position is ideal for a physicist who values work-life balance, modern workflows, and practicing high-quality radiation oncology without unnecessary complexity. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or a related field from an accredited institution. Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Medical Physics or equivalent credentialing body. Extensive experience working with CT imaging, medical software applications, and radiation treatment planning systems. Proven expertise in critical care environments with a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Hands-on experience operating linear accelerators, CT simulators, mammography units, and other radiological equipment. Knowledge of radiation safety procedures, including implementing protocols for acute care settings. Familiarity with electronic health records management systems related to radiation oncology services.
