Job Description
Overview Texas Oncology is seeking a Chief Certified (Therapeutic) Medical Physicist to join our El Paso Team ! The position will be based in our Grandview location and support our Gateway location. Our El Paso locations are home to 12 Hematologists/Oncologists, 2 Board Certified Radiation Oncologists, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and a Physician Assistant. We also offer in house labs, imaging, and have a full-time Oncology pharmacist. Our centers handle an average of 110 patients per day, including SRS, SBRT, and HDR programs. Today, Texas Oncology treats half of all Texans diagnosed with cancer on an annual basis. Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country and has approximately 600+ providers in 220+ sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Applicants must have a Master's degree or PhD in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university. Must be ABR certified, or have completed a CAMPEP approved residency and be board eligible, and have working experience in a clinical environment.
