As an Associate Group Leader at BeOne Institute, you will help lead a high-performing research team to advance breakthrough discoveries. You will set and execute a forward-looking research strategy aligned with our mission, foster a collaborative environment where innovative ideas are translated into transformative medicines.

  • + Drive scientific excellence and delivery by establishing clear program goals and milestones.
+ Communicate progress through regular updates while proactively identifying challenges and proposing solutions. + Support the Group Leader, BeOne Institute and build and develop a high performing team and foster team members professional growth, technical expertise and scientific expertise. Lead cross-disciplinary or cross-functional collaborations and drive innovation within and beyond the Institute. + Contribute to the development of research strategy and ensure effective execution within defined therapeutic area or technology space + Provide scientific guidance and influence decision-making within own research group, while contributing to broader discussions across the organization
  • Requirements
  • Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: cancer biology, cancer immunology, immunology, protein engineering, AI-driven protein design, or a related life sciences discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant post-degree experience, including postdoctoral and/or industry research experience, with a strong track record of contributions to drug discovery or impactful scientific achievements.
+ Ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and interdisciplinary research environment, and to integrate multi-disciplinary approaches to solve complex biological problems.
  • Demonstrated scientific leadership and potential to lead a research group, with ability to influence cross-functional collaborations
  • Experience providing guidance and mentorship, supporting development of team members. + Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • + May supervise or mentor individual contributors and/or lead project-based teams, depending on business needs.
  • Education Required:
  • A Ph.
D. or , M.D., with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
