Job Description

Director of Research Development (Cincinnati) We are seeking a Director of Research & Development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in leading innovation and driving product development from concept to commercialization in alignment with consumer and market insights . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain-to deliver high-performance consumer products in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end product development, ensuring speed, technical excellence, and manufacturability. Partner with Marketing to translate innovation concepts into viable, high-performing products. Oversee R D operations, streamline processes, and manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Ensure all products meet licensor standards, regulatory compliance, and internal quality benchmarks. Stay ahead of CPG industry trends and emerging technologies to drive technical innovation.
Required Qualifications Proficiency in:
Product formulation, R D process management, CPG product lifecycle, cross-functional collaboration .
Relevant certifications:
None required, but scientific credentials or regulatory training is a plus . Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management abilities. 10+ years of experience in CPG Research & Development , with at least 5+ years in a leadership role .
Preferred Qualifications Experience with:
Fabric care, household cleaning products, licensed brand collaboration, contract manufacturing . Familiarity with stage-gate innovation processes and cross-functional project planning . Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Prior experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments within the consumer products industry . #J-18808-Ljbffr
