Translate business, product, quality, and regulatory requirements into product software architecture. Ensure the software meets time to market requirements, is scalable, serviceable, and has the required level of security and meets availability (uptime) requirements. Ensure architecture is extensible to ensure integration of third-party systems such as Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Software. Lead and supervise the team of engineers and architects that drive development of robotic knee, hip, or shoulder arthroplasty products. Drive product delivery and enhancements for all applications in the RI.KNEE (Real Intelligence Knee), RI.HIP, and RI. Shoulder product portfolio. Work with management to ensure organizational design is aligned with software architecture. Supervise the team of engineers that ensures architectural governance and quality of design and code is fully aligned with architecture by conducting design reviews, code reviews, and tools to enable this. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week. Full time employment, Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Robotic Systems Development, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Robotic Systems Development or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Medical robotics industry; Software design and development; Developing software for robotic systems; Developing software computer vision tracking applications; Developing software for a regulated product in the medical or aviation industries; Software development in C++; Software development on Unix or Linux operating systems; and Developing products for knee, hip or shoulder arthroplasty surgeries. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in developing products subject toHIPAA/GDPR
