Full-Time Make an Impact in Medical Innovation Join L&R USA's R D team as an R D Project Specialist and support the successful execution of new product development and product improvement projects. This role coordinates timelines, documentation, testing, and cross-functional communication while collaborating closely with design, manufacturing, marketing, quality/regulatory, and external clinicians. When applicable, the role may also support patient-related evaluations and feedback activities to help keep projects on track and aligned with business objectives and customer needs. Key Responsibilities Support the execution of new product development and product improvement projects through strong coordination, organization, and follow-through Create and maintain project timelines, milestones, action items, and status updates Monitor progress and follow up with cross-functional team members to help keep projects on track Collaborate with design, manufacturing, marketing, quality/regulatory, and other internal stakeholders to align project needs and next steps Coordinate product evaluations, testing activities, wear trials, and feedback collection Serve as a point of coordination with external clinicians, and, when applicable, patients involved in evaluations or product feedback Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including meeting notes, test records, specifications, and related files Compile and communicate project updates, findings, risks, and recommendations to internal stakeholders Help identify gaps, delays, or obstacles and support timely resolution through effective communication and follow-up Assist with product changes, documentation updates, and related project support activities Support launch readiness by coordinating required deliverables and cross-functional inputs Manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail and deadlines What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, science, healthcare, business, or a related field 2+ years of relevant experience in project coordination, product development support, operations, healthcare, manufacturing, or a related field Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with close attention to detail Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively follow through on open items Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project tracking systems, ERP systems, or SAP is a plus Experience in a medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated environment preferred Experience supporting product testing, evaluations, or customer/clinical feedback activities preferred
Physical Demands:
This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, as well as laboratory testing equipment such as a tensile tester. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Travel as needed, up to 10%. This is a full-time position, with occasional extended hours as needed.
