Responsibilities Travel to the Three Rivers Solid Waste Landfill site in South Carolina Conduct routine site visits, typically about once per month or as needed Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of sensors/scientific instruments Inspect system performance and report issues to the research team Download field data, maintain field notes and visit records Qualifications Enrolled student at Auburn University. Valid driver's license, passing the Auburn University campus safety course, and experience with 4x4 truck driving Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a team Comfortable working outdoors under sunlight and around field equipment Interested in earth systems science, and a sophomore or senior level is preferred Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities No prior experience is required; we will arrange training relevant to- Methane monitoring instrumentation, eddy covariance systems Field data collection and management Research methods and scientific workflows (if interested) Why Work at Auburn?
