Job Description

Type:
Full-time The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of direct patient care, utilizing the established nursing standards of care and evidence-based nursing practice for the patient population it serves. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, the RN strives to support a patient-centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of and the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. The Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or CNO/DON and exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified responsibilities in the delivery of quality patient care. This position is safety sensitive and subject to all of WMRMC's policies including the Drug & Alcohol Policy. All employees at WMRMC are expected to follow the employee driven Behavioral Standards as they join our professional community of practice. The job requires flexibility, initiative, critical thinking, a willingness to learn, a commitment to professionalism and strong teamwork skills. WMRMC New Graduate RN (NGRN) Transition to Practice Program (TTP): A one-year training program developed for new graduate RNs to transition them confidently and safely into professional RN practice. The NGRN is assigned a preceptor who will guide you through a tiered bedside orientation . Expected completion of this portion of the program is 4-6 months. Orientation 36-40 hour work week . Most weeks, the TTP will include 3 12-hour patient care shifts plus up to 4 hours of didactic content. Weekly and Monthly check-ins with NGRN, preceptor and manager. At onset of TTP, there is a required post program two-year employment agreement. Full-Time - Night Shift - With Benefits Must be available to work holidays and weekends Required Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Experience Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care Required Licenses & Certifications Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire Equal Opportunity Employer White Mountain Regional Medical Center is an equal opportunity employer.
