Job Summary:
The Administrative Fellowship Program at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital offers an opportunity for future health care leaders to gain experience in all aspects of hospital leadership. The 12-month program includes rotations throughout most departments of the hospital, including participation in Senior Executive and Board meetings. Additionally, the Administrative Fellow is afforded the opportunity to become involved in an array of special projects, many of which are based upon their particular interests.
Licensure and Certification:
N/A Education:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of prior work experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience in healthcare field preferred. Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-workers. Strong communication skills (verbally and in writing). Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to use logical and scientific thinking to interpret technical data and solve a broad range of problems. Strong computer literacy and analytical skills.
Equipment:
The ability to operate a variety of office equipment including copiers, fax machines, printer, scanners and other equipment as required.
